Masters student at USP
In my master's research I have investigated the processes of perception and production of intonation . The central proposal of my work is that there is an intrinsic relationship between the physiological processes that regulate the production processes and the mind / brain that organize the perception of intonation. To this end, I have developed a multidisciplinary and experimental literature supporting me, specially in Neuroscience, Psychoacoustics and in the field of Biomedical Engineering on the speech processing and modeling of communication.
Graduated in Linguistics by FFLCH-USP (2010), where I developed scientific initiation research on the perception of intonation. I am currently graduate student at the same institution, developing research in phonetics and phonology, under the guidance of Prof Dr. Beatriz de Medeiros Raposo. Concurrent with the Master I course Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences (BMAC) at IME-USP.
Dinafon stands for Dinâmica Fônica, i.e., speech dynamics, and expresses the research interests of a group of phonologists/phoneticians directed by Eleonora Albano.
